Buzz: Buy it or DIY It

From artsy accents to crafty embellishments and frayed hemlines, so much of what's trending in fashion is about reinventing basic style staples — so why not repurpose something you already own? This week I’m sharing summer trends you can buy or DIY.

This season is all about using ruffles to update your basic T-shirt into something totally fun and feminine. Brands like Topshop, Helmut Lang, Velvet and more have playful styles ranging from $45-$200. Or, for as little as $10, you can buy all the supplies to create the look on one of the plain T-shirts you have at home.

Topshop Lace Ruffle, $45, Nordstrom
Bobeau Ruffle Tee, $49, Nordstrom
Halogen Tulle Trim, $59, Nordstrom
Style Mafia, $36,
Velvet Pamina Ruffle Tee, $86,
Clu, $149,
Helmut Lang Ruffle Tee, $160,

You'll need a T-shirt, ruffle trim and either a needle and thread or a new-sew option (like Dritz Liquid Stitch or Aleene's OK to Wash It). A small stitcher like OcGord Quick Stitch Tool can be handy for hemlines.

Use safety pins to temporarily position your trim, then try-on your T-shirt to ensure you like the placement, making adjustments if needed. Then attach your ruffle with either a simple stitch or apply a thin line of glue along the top of the trim and let it dry for 24 hours.

Dritz Liquid Stitch, $4.19,
Aleene's OK to Wash It$3.49, Joann
OcGord Quick Stitch Tool$9.95,

The biggest trend in denim right now is also the easiest: raw hems! From dramatic fringe to step hems (where the front is shorter than the back), everyone from Zara to Joe’s Jeans are selling denim with undone edges. For an at-home version, use specialty denim scissors to update the hem of boot-cut and straight-leg jeans you haven’t worn recently.

Zara Fringe Denim, $40, Zara
3x1 Crop Fringe Jeans, $295, Revolve
McGuire Step Hem, $89, Saks Fifth Avenue
Joe's Step Hem, $168, Macy's

You'll need denim, sharp scissors and chalk or tape. Try on your jeans and mark where you'd like your crop or fringe to start. Cut your desired angle or strips and repeat on the other leg. If cutting a step hem, use the piece you cut away from the first leg as a guide for the second leg. Then wash and tumble dry your jeans for a distressed fray. If you want to prevent your hemline from fraying after your first wash, use a product like Aleene's Stop Fraying.

Aleene's Stop Fraying$2.79, Joann

Sporty water sandals have been given a glam upgrade this summer, and we can’t get enough! Fur, jewels, pearls and patterns have taken this basic summer shoe to the next level. You can find a plain pair to DIY from places like Target and Amazon, then go wild with embellishments from your favorite fabric store.

Sirna Rhinestone Pearl Slides, $45, Aldo
Jeffrey Campbell Jova Slides, $100, Urban Outfitters
Kendall and Kylie Sammy Slides, $135, Bloomingdale's
Tory Burch Jewel Slides, $225, Bloomingdale's
Dolce & Gabbana Jacquard Slides, $995/$597, Net-A-Porter
Miu Miu Crystal Feather Slides, $990/$495, Net-A-Porter

You'll need sandals (use a pair you already own or find a pair of basic slides), embellishments (available for $1.99 and up at Michaels), and a permanent bond like Fabri-Tac Embellish It. Once you have found inspiration, gather your ribbon, fur, gems or pearls and use basic tape to help temporarily place your design. If you prefer not to work with glue, consider the assortment of stick-on gems available for at your local craft store or Otherwise, heavy-duty glue dots or double-stick tape will affix your embellishments.

Fabri-Tac Embellish It $5.99

Haute Summer Styles for Your Hair

If you love the look of fishtail braids and other intricate braided looks but can’t quite master the technique, check out Just Braydz's extensions, which either slide into hair like a headband or clip in to instantly giving you a chic updo or down-do. There are even options with metallic strands and fabric pieces woven in, so all you have to do is pop it on and go.

Just Braydz braid extensions, $25 and up, Just Braydz

If you want to chase a waterfall (braid, that is!), Conair has a handy helper you can find in your local drugstore's hair aisle. The Waterfall Braid Maker is a specialized tool that holds hair for you when you run out of fingers.

Conair Waterfall braid maker, $4, Target

To add a little sparkle to your hair without the hassle and damage of clips and bands, try Pink Pewter's collection of hair jewels that stay put via Velcro — just press and twist to secure. To master the bubble pony look (something I recently posted on Instagram), try Scunci’s set of sleek Pony Cuffs, also available at drugstores.

Pink Pewter hair jewels, $25, Pink Pewter
Scunci Pony Cuff, $8, Ulta

Could these hair pens be the most discreet beauty accessory in your bag? Bad Baby's aerosol hairsprays and dry shampoos come in tiny pen-shaped vessels that will give you up to 200 sprays each. Plus, the pens are TSA-approved and contain zero parabens, sulfates or phthalates.

Bad Baby hair spray and dry shampoo pens, $8, Bad Baby

If you loathe blow drying your hair (or paying for a salon blowout), here's a new fix. Both Redken and Pureology have recently debuted light, leave-in creams that are said to mimic the effects of blow drying without the effort. Just apply Redken's NBD ("No Blow Dry") or Pureology's Air Dry Cream to damp hair and let dry.

Redken "NBD" Creams, $24, Ulta
Pureology Hydrate Air Dry cream, $22, Beauty Plus Salon

Calling all ladies who've tried texturizing sprays in an effort to get that perfectly undone, beach-wave look. While most texturizing sprays are activated by salt, this one is activated by sugar, which is said to be less sticky and softer while delivering similar results. It's also worth noting that sugar is a natural humectant, which preserves moisture rather than dehydrating like salt.

Cake Beauty ‘The Wave Maker’ sugar-infused spray, $12, Cake Beauty

Buzz: Faux Glow Finds

Summer is right around the corner and I'm here to help you get a head start on your faux glow with these new and innovative at-home tanning finds.

Does it get any easier than this? Almay's new lightweight foundation leaves a hint of a glow every time you use it — and is the only product like it right now. You can wear it daily to build up your tan shade by shade with no extra layers or products required.

Almay Healthy Glow Makeup and Self Tan, $15, Ulta

So you think you've seen every crazy, cool face mask out there? What about one that tans your skin while hydrating it, too? St. Tropez just released their Bronzing Face Sheet Mask with hyaluronic acid that lets you control the depth of your tan. Leave it on for five minutes for a light tan, 10 minutes for medium or 15 minutes to go dark. You get a dewy glow instantly, and your tan develops after about eight hours. There's no need to rinse it off; simply blend the serum lightly around your eyes and hairline after removing the mask for a flawless tan.

St. Tropez Tanning Essentials Self Tan Express Bronzing Face Sheet Mask, $9, Sephora

Rather than the universal formula you find in most self-tanners, Mystic Tan takes a unique approach. Their product comes in three shades to better complement a wide range of skin tones: Island-Kyssed for cool, purple undertones, Sun-Kyssed for warm, red undertones and Mocha-Kyssed for warm, olive-brown undertones. The self-tanners are formulated with a built-in bronzer for an immediate glow and every purchase comes with an applicator mitt.

Mystic Tan self-tan lotion with bronzer, $35, Mystic Tan

Ask anyone who self-tans or spray-tans frequently and they'll tell you that the trickiest part is avoiding showers for up to 24 hours to ensure the tan sets evenly. What if you don’t have that kind of time? What about your sheets and clothes? Vita Liberata's 10 Minute Tan is coming to the rescue. Just apply the solution, wait 10 minutes and rinse off in the shower. The product leaves no odor and your tan will appear in about six hours.

Vita Liberata 10-minute tan, $39, Sephora

What’s the one at-home tanning product you never knew you needed? Protective clothing, of course! After Tan Co's maxi dress is designed specifically to wear after faux tanning. It's padded so you can go braless and it has thick straps to avoid seatbelt or hand bag marks on your way home from a spray tan.

Even better, their “sheet protectors” are machine washable and have press studs on either side to protect bedding — all without having to change or ruin those pretty white sheets!

After Tan Co’s post-tanning products, $30 and up, After Tan Co

To get the best spray tan and self-tanning results, be prepared. You’ll want to prep your skin beforehand and ready to fix any streaks or dark spots that might appear.

1. For pre-tanning prep: Body Benefits scrub gloves, $4, Walgreens
2. To set your self-tanner: Johnson’s baby powder, $4, Walgreens
3. To fix or remove tanner: Bronze Buffer’s self-tan remover sponge, $5, Walgreens

Buzz: Clever Baby Finds + Toddler Must-Haves

Whether you're a brand new mom learning the ropes or a seasoned vet looking to streamline her daily routine, I'm here to share smart solutions that will help you get through the day (or night!) seamlessly.

Looking for a special treat for your little one or a gift for someone else’s? Nothing beats a personalized touch. While there are many custom and monogrammed options out there, Jennifer Ann offers up truly unique personalized blankets, drool bibs, crib sheets and onesies — by turning the name or phrase into a print. You can create a whole set that looks seamless together or mix and match with different colors and words. Use the newborn's name or select from fun sibling clothing options like "big sis" and "lil' sis" on printed leggings.
Personalized Named Leggings, $46, Jenniferann

Waking a sleepy baby in the morning or from a nap can be tough. Claessens' Kids My Dream Loveys are soft stuffed animals that glow soft blue (like a night light) while it’s resting time, but can be timed to shift to orange to indicate wake-up time. The machine-washable, cuddle-worthy companions make for a gentle way to keep your little one on a schedule.

Kids' Sleep My Dream, $25, Classens' Kids

Sun-savvy moms and beach-going families will love these kid-approved swim “costumes.” With head-to-toe coverage that includes leggings, rashguards and trunks specifically designed for delicate skin, Sun Pop Life pieces come in cool costume styles they'll actually want to wear — like mermaids, sharks and camo print. You can buy individual pieces or complete sets, all of which are breathable to keep kids cool and insulate them skin from heat. Plus, they’ve got UPF 50 protection so you know they're staying safe.

Shark 2PC Set, $90, Sun Pop Life

As any new mom knows, swimsuits for baby girls are adorable, but often impractical when it comes to diaper changes because you have to take the whole thing off. Pepper and Jo to the rescue! This mom-invented brand makes swimsuits with (*drumroll*) snaps on the bottom! As an added bonus, there's a sturdy patch of fabric on the tush area to prevent those nasty snags that happen on concrete pool bottoms and decks.

Skirted Suit Rainbow Dot, $38, Pepper and Jo

It took a while, but the stylish “direct-to-customer” model (think Warby Parker and Harry’s Razors) has finally arrived for new parents. Parasol Co makes seriously cute diapers in six different patterns that are super soft and made from eco-conscious materials. Parents can sign up for a subscription box with monthly deliveries of diapers and wipes (so convenient!) or buy packs of diapers or wipes individually online.

Ultra-soft diapers, $22, Parasol

The formerly anxious father of a newborn took five years of testing to create Kepi, a spoon-like board with a built-in blanket that supports your tiny one’s head, neck and spine. That way, you can rest just a bit easier when shy siblings and nervous visitors hold an infant. Added plus: Should baby doze off, the Kepi Board can be used for sleeping as it optimally positions the body for good digestion and breathing.
Kozy Kit, $98, Kepi

Skip Hop’s smart, portable baby wipes case will be a revelation for on-the-go moms. Each pack comes on a lanyard-style strap so it can be attached to stroller, bag or anywhere for easy access — and so it doesn’t get lost at the bottom of the diaper bag. They also feature a secure, wide opening and a moisture-stay seal so your pack stays fresh ‘til the last wipe.

Grab & Go Snug Seal Wipes Case, $9, Skip Hop

Shopping with the kiddos can be a stressful experience, especially if your kids are restless and energetic. Snap And Shop has created a clever solution—a snack tray attachment that fits securely onto any size shopping cart handle to keep babies and toddlers occupied while you shop. Each tray has two snack compartments that are perfect for your kids' favorite snacks.

Snap & Shop Shopping Cart Snack Tray, $15, Snap & Shop

Why invest in a whole separate bathing apparatus for your baby when you can just turn your existing tub into a tiny, tot-sized version? BabyDam is a plastic "wall" that suctions onto the floor of the tub, dividing it into a smaller area that holds water. The best part? You can continue to adjust the “wall” farther and farther out as your child grows to provide them with as much space as they need.

Babydam Bathtub Divider, $45, Babydam

It’s not pretty to think about, but bath toys can be a breeding ground for bacteria and mold thanks to the combo of crevices and a bathroom’s naturally humid environment. Marcus & Marcus' bath toys prevent that oh-so-unpleasant problem with a clever design that can be fully opened, allowing the toy to air dry and making cleaning much easier.

Marcus & Marcus Mold Free Squirting Submarine Bath Toy, $13, Amazon

Buzz: Magnetic Lashes, Metallic Lipstick To Attract Admiring Glances

With the official start of spring this week, I'm happy to share my beauty know-how and the buzziest new finds to refresh and refine your routine.

Calling all ladies who love the look of false lashes, but loathe the sometimes messy, sometimes intimidating application process. A new brand called One Two Lashes recently popped onto the scene with a cool concept: Faux lashes secured via tiny, micro-magnetic fiber strips. Think of the product like a little eyelash sandwich, with your natural lashes acting as the in-between layer.

While the first-ever batch of One Two Lashes sold out rapidly, the company is currently working diligently on re-stocking so be patient — it may take more than a month for new orders to be shipped.

Bonus tip: As a frequent wearer of faux lashes, I was impressed by the ease of application, but for any beginners out there, invest a few minutes in this tutorial to set yourself up for success.

Original lash, $69, One Two

Ahh, that glorious feeling when you crack open a fresh tube of mascara! So fresh, so new and so easy to apply. Dior Beauty has taken a leap toward making every day "new mascara day" with their much hyped Pump'n'Volume mascara. It features a flexible, rubber tube you squeeze with your fingers before each application to soften and warm up the formula inside while staving off dry, crumbly texture.

Fun fact: The concept was inspired by backstage beauty, where pros often heat mascara in a cup of water or with a hairdryer before using.

DiorShow Pump'N'Volume, $29, Dior

This cream blush, in a specific shade called "Eclipse," has quickly collected some enthusiastic fans — even before its official launch on April 5. Dubbed the "anti-highlighter," the sheer black blush adds a subtle touch of unexpected vamp to your usual makeup routine. Apply it as a lip tint, eye cream or blend with other shades you own to make the color a bit darker or moodier.

Inner Glow Créme Pigment in Elipse, $29, Rituel de Fille

Move over, matte! Lustrous, shiny lips are back in a big way. Everyone from LancomeNYXTouch In SolMilani and MAC are offering reflective, metallic shades for spring. If you're not ready to give up your go-to hue, look for a gloss, like Jouer's versatile Lip Topper, to instantly update your look. You can wear it alone or layer over another lip color for added shimmer and sparkle.

Long-Wear Lip Topper, $16, Jouer

Buzz: 4 Skin Care Products to Buy Now

From wearable wrinkle-reducers to a mirror that acts like your personal aesthetician, I'm excited to share some of the smartest finds to hit the beauty market.

It's a fact of life: Repetition causes wrinkles. And the hard to resist habit of sleeping on your side can leave us with chest and cleavage creases. These Wrinkles Schminkles adhesive silicone pads are designed to be worn while you sleep, helping to keep the skin flat and taut and prevent lines from being reinforced. Additionally, medical-grade silicone is known to help hydrate and increase collagen production, which can yield a more youthful appearance.

These items were hand-picked by our editorial team because we love them - and we hope you do, too. TODAY has affiliate relationships, so we may get a small share of the revenue from your purchases. Items are sold by the retailer, not by TODAY.

Chest Wrinkles and Décolletage Wrinkles, $28, Wrinkles Schminkles

Dr. Dennis Gross has amassed a cult following for his skin care line and has now the ventured into the future with the SpectraLite Eyecare Pro, an FDA-cleared device that uses professional red light therapy to target crows feet and 11 other lines in the eye area. The best part? The hands-free wearable allows busy gals to multitask while turning back the clock.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare SpectraLite EyeCare Pro LED Device, $159, Sephora

'Tis the season for strappy dresses, tank tops and sandals, which means it's time to buff away body blemishes and dry, dead skin. The Spin Spa (which you may or may not have seen on late night TV commercials) is a battery-powered, vibrating brush with an elongated handle that can help exfoliate and smooth hard-to-reach places. Added plus: Each brush comes with interchangeable heads like a pumice stone (for softening calluses) and a massage head (to increase circulation).

Spin Spa Body Brush, $20, Bed Bath & Beyond

While it may look like your run-of-the-mill mirror, the HiMirror has a high-tech secret: a built-in, skin-sensing camera. The forward-thinking device helps pinpoint issues — including fine lines, discolorations and dark circles — and can recommend products to help tackle them. There's even a history feature so you can track your progress (in other words, find out if your skin care products are actually working). It can also be connected to their Smart Body Scale bath mat to help you stay on top of fitness goals by monitoring body fat percentage, metabolic rate and more.

HiMirror, $189, HiMirror

Buzz: Mask Madness

The masking trend continues to explode this spring with even more brands offering new and innovative approaches to at-home skin care. That's why I stopped by TODAY Thursday to share the must-have masks you need for a fun spring refresh.

This highly anticipated face mask from celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury is a bit tricky to wrap your head around because (*drumroll*) ... it's completely dry! How can that be, you ask? The textile itself has active ingredients that release onto skin. And since CT's Magical Facial Masks are dry (and therefore don't harbor bacteria), you can wear them up to three times each.

Revolutionary Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet, $22, Charlotte Tilbury

Don’t be thrown off by the unusual-looking baby faces on the box of Dr. Jart's new rubber masks; they're really quite simple to use! Just apply the included product to your face and cover with the flexible rubber sheets. Those sheets (which are actually made from seaweed) keep the ingredients from instantly evaporating, so they have time to do their thing. They're available in four different varieties to treat skin care concerns.

Dr. Jart+Hydration Lover Rubber Mask, $12, Sephora

Lingerie for your face? Not exactly! While Dermovia's new fabric lace masks look pretty, they're actually extremely functional and designed to repair, lift and firm thanks a slightly snug "compression" fit. The masks, which come saturated in serum, have ear holes so that you can strap them right onto your face, kick back and relax. Options include Rejuvenating Collagen, Hydrating Rose Water and a brand new Black Bamboo Detox mask.

Dermovia Lace Your Face Rejuvenating Collagen Compression Facial Mask, $15, Nordstrom

We all know that sea salt works wonders when it comes to texturizing your tresses, but it turns out that the ocean is hiding a few more beauty secrets.'s best-selling mask is made from 100 percent organic sea kelp to cover and quench your face in nutrients that can brighten, hydrate, smooth and even out skin tone.

Whamisa Organic Sea Kelp Facial Sheet Mask, $14, Glow Recipe

Let's face it: Half the fun of a mask is taking a silly selfie. If that's of interest to you, then you may want to check out SNP's animal masks, which come in cute designs like dog, tiger, cat, panda, monkey and more (each with unique ingredients to deliver different skin-nourishing benefits). Perfect for a girls night in, these rejuvenate skin ... and really confuse whomever happens to knock at the door that night.

Buzz: Spring Travel Essentials

With the spring break season in full swing and summer getaways just around the corner, I'm proud to share some savvy finds for your next warm-weather escape.

A cozy cowl neck is ideal for travel while a chic, off-the-shoulder style is perfect for a dinner date — but what if you could get both all in one garment? Oh, yes. Double-duty, convertible tunics can take you from the airport to drinks by the beach without having to fully change your outfit. Simply adjust the neckline to your liking and voila! You’re ready for a Mai Tai.

Gibson Convertible Neckline Cozy Fleece Tunic, $54, Nordstrom

Shopping for swimwear that fits — especially two-pieces — can be nearly impossible. Most of us are different sizes on top and bottom and need coverage in different places, which makes traditional matched sets a tough sell. Target to the rescue! Their mix-and-match swimwear options let you choose from nine top styles and five bottom styles, each in a rainbow of colors, so you can design your dream suit. From triangle to tankini, hipster to high waist, there's something for every body type.

Mix & Match Swimwear, $20 and up, Target

A great hat is essential for any sunny destination, but packing it can be a pain. SunLily's stylish design is just like your favorite straw hat only better because it folds up and snaps into a small, compact size. In case you were wondering, the Roll-n-Go Sun Hat won't lose its shape either (thanks to flexible wooden fibers), so you can throw in your purse or luggage without fear of crushing it.

SunLily Roll-n-Go Sun Hat, $16, The Grommet

I'm always on the hunt for finds that make trips (and packing!) a little easier. One of my most recent discoveries is Miists, which is a wide-ranging set of sprays in slim, flat packages that can easily slide in your pocket. Varieties include everything from hairspray and insect repellent to wrinkle releaser, stain remover and other on-the-go essentials.

And this is a genius solution for beach-going families who don’t want to drag sand back to the hotel or car. Powder Pouch — a small, refillable cotton sachet containing corn starch — magically wipes away sand from dry skin in one swipe, making sunscreen re-application or getting dressed a breeze.

Buzz: Sequined Pillows, Spinnable Fidget Rings, Glam Goo

From feel good pillows to captivating goo (yes, GOO!), I'm here to share some unexpectedly "touch-worthy" jewelry, home decor and more.

We all have that one quirk: It could be twirling your hair or scribbling on the side of your to-do list. But if doodling doesn't do it for you (or you want to kick a habit like nail-biting), soothing "spin" rings and bracelets could be the answer. Great for stress relief, nervous energy or anyone who loves fiddling, these accessories come with moving parts or slidable beads to keep you busy in a subtle way — anywhere, anytime.

Daisy Fidget Ring, $24, Etsy
Copper Fidget Ring, $40, Etsy

Sparkly sequins are pretty enticing in their original form, but there's a new version that's been gaining popularity: the reversible sequin. Think of this unique fabric like the adult version of an Etch A Sketch; just run your fingers over the surface and flip the sequins over to reveal a different color (rub your hand back over to "erase"). From pretty pillows to T-shirts and dresses, there are countless ways to try this fabric ... and play with it for hours on end.

You can thank Instagram for this latest “What the what?” trend. Smushy, gushy goo — similar to Silly Putty or Gak, for those who remember '90s toys — is the latest social craze thanks to mesmerizing videos. Slime Jewel in particular has collected thousands of fans, and regularly sells out of their limited edition batches, which feature twists like gemstones and metallic foil.

Looking for more ways to kill time or squash stress? Aaron's Crazy Thinking Putty comes in 40 different varieties, including color-shifting, light-reactive and magnetic. Added plus: It's been said that clenching and unclenching a fist with putty in your hands can increase memory.

Buzz: Ponytail Protector, All-In-One Makeup Pencil

From hilarious to helpful, I'm back for another Bobbie's Buzz to share the headline-making beauty products you need to know.

This new lip balm moisturizes, comes in yummy flavors and (wait for it) makes your lips vibrate like crazy. Yes, you heard me! Dr. Lip Bang's Lip Freak is an all-natural formula (no batteries, no electricity) that will let your lips experience a sensation that's unlike anything you've ever felt before all thanks to a special blend of essential oils. In case you were wondering, the funny feeling is transferable, so the person you kiss this Valentine's Day will be in for quite a surprise.

Do you ever wish that you could wash just the top of your head, scalp and hairline? That way, you could leave the rest of your tresses intact, whether they're curled, waved, blown out, etc. PonyDry covers are tight little shower caps that protect just a bun-sized portion of hair, allowing you to shampoo your scalp in the shower and extend the life of your style for days at a time. This is also a great tool for those trying to preserve their hair color!

PonyDry, $20, PonyDry

On the heels of Beautyblender's über popular teardrop makeup applicator, more sponges are looking to squeeze in on the scene. Benefit Cosmetics created mini Shadow Blenders shaped to fit the contours of your eyes, while the Makeup Bullet acts like an extension of your own fingertips. The wearable sponge was designed by an Emmy-winning makeup artist to offer a hands-free blending tool to use throughout your makeup routine. And for those who dread tossing their sponges into a dirty makeup bag or purse, Blenderelle's ventilated cage is not only a great travel case, but also offers antimicrobial protection.

Do you remember those pens that offer up a carousel of ink color options in just one retractable design? Well, Clarins has cleverly adapted that same idea for makeup. Their Four-Color All-In-One tool has three chambers with eyeliner (black, brown and indigo blue) plus one chamber with lip liner (natural beige). It's ideal for travel and very fun to play with!

Four-Color All-in-One Pen, $30, Clarins

Collecting nail polishes is easy, but keeping them organized is not. If your collection is a jumbled hot mess sitting in a bucket, bag or rolling around under the bathroom sink, then the Color Clutch is here to help. Accommodating almost any brand's bottle, each case holds 14 colors in a sleek, book-like silhouette that takes up just 2 inches of space when stored on a bookcase or shelf. There's even a designated spot to add swatches of color on the side for easy reference.

Color Clutch Nail Polish Holder, $20, Container Store

Three makes a trend and this year is all about foam! Ouai's new foam formula works wonders as a dry shampoo, absorbing quickly to remove oil and product build-up while adding a volume boost. DryBar's Double Standard is another must-try product. It's 2-in-1 cleansing and conditioning foam aims to replace traditional shampoo with a shaving cream-like texture that gently removes residue and hydrates with raspberry seed oil and honey.

And whether you color your hair or not, follow Rita Hazan's expert directions: shampoo, gloss, then condition. Hazan's in-shower Ultimate Shine Gloss is a foaming game-changer that helps extend the life your color, boosting shine and bounce while adding a layer of protection to your tresses.

Buzz: Unicorn Essence + More Beauty Finds

From coconut melts to cleansing grains, I'm back to share the latest buzz-worthy trends in the world of skin care.

Hot on the heels of their popular Rose Gold Elixir (a lightweight, daytime moisturizing oil), beauty newcomer Farsali is releasing a formula called Unicorn Essence this February. Whimsical name aside, the under-eye treatment has beauty buffs buzzing about its skin-enhancing benefits, which include anti-aging effects and pre-makeup priming.

This product is a conditioning hair mask, shave oil, massage oil, under-eye rescue, makeup remover, bath boost, belly balm and baby butter all in one (phew!). Kopari's Coconut Melt is a unique, multitasking solid that magically liquefies into an oil upon touch. Cool, right?

Whole grains for your face? Yep! With just a few drops of water, Farmacy's Gentle Exfoliating Grains transforms into a foaming cream. Also on the ingredients list: cranberry seeds to deep clean and rice bran powder to loosen dry skin cells and absorb excess oil.

P.S. If you're in the market for a new night moisturizer, Farmacy's Sleep Tight is a unique gel option that turns into oil and melts into your skin.

If you've ever tried retinol-based products (to prevent acne, fight aging effects or minimize scars), you know that it can come with unpleasant side effects like redness and peeling. A new oil from Jouer, however, aims to mimic the positive effects of retinol and rejuvenate skin without the subsequent dryness. Good news for anyone who's been searching for a gentler alternative.

While the purple pigment of this product may seem daunting, there's actually good reason for that color. Moon Fruit cream is made directly from nutrient-rich goji berries, raspberries and indigo root, which give it that unique hue. It's ideal for nighttime use, but don't worry about your pillowcases; the color disappears upon rubbing.
